Advantage Nurse Staffing is seeking a Health & Wellness Manager (RN) for a long-term opportunity at a job corps program supporting students.
Worksites: Main Campus – Troutdale | Satellite Campus – Montgomery Park
Pay: $56/hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday
Duration: 13 weeks, temp-to-hire potential
Start: ASAP
On-call weekend support required: Must be available by phone in case of questions from weekend staff.
Role summary
Lead the Health & Wellness Program and manage daily operations related to assessment, treatment, emergency care, and case management of student health conditions. Program oversight includes medical, oral health, mental health, and substance abuse services.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee and coordinate basic health services, triage for acute illness/injuries, and chronic care management
Medication management + monthly medication reviews (with Center Physician/CMHC as appropriate)
Immunizations, infection control, and communicable disease prevention
Coordinate oral health and mental health services
Support disability services (DAC participation / co-coordinator responsibilities)
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance
Provide wellness education and staff/student trainings; support wellness initiatives (e.g., HEALS, prevention programs)
Supervise Health & Wellness services and staff; support quality improvement and SOPs
Requirements
Active, unrestricted Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing
Must maintain AHA BLS
Strong communication, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred: 3+ years nursing experience; 1+ year in a lead/supervisory role.
